EORA is not just a clock. It is a portrait, a friend, an affectionate buddy.
Designed as a painting, its frame in solid ash wood envelops a blue dial made of recycled fabrics that resembles the marble.
With its clock hands made of recycled popsicle sticks and its ability to talk via NFC technology, EORA does not just measure time: it connects the tradition of the past to the dreams of the future.

Flexibility
EORA has been designed to be modular. Its minimal design fits every style: a minimal living room, a fancy bedroom, a modern office or a classical restaurant.
Its dial can be easily removed to allow EORA to show its naked inner soul: an heart of solid ash wood.
You can switch EORA's design according to your feelings, or the season!

Eco-materials
We have a fetish for creative, ecofriendly materials!
EORA's dial is made of recycled fabrics (Solid Textile Board by Really) and its clock hands are made of recycled ice cream sticks.
We crafted a wooden box to collect the sticks on the Sardinian beach and we transformed them into design.
That's Kibelis magic! ;)
From packaging to your garden
EORA has been enshrined in a 100% green cardboard package.
Here the clock is wrapped in GEOWOOL, a wonderful eco tissue of sheep wool, and accompanied by ecofriendly papery made by Venice seaweed, kiwifruit surpluses and FSC fibers.
But GEOWOOL is not just a petrol free wool tissue, because it is a material appositely created for agriculture: it has an excellent mulching action due to its fibers, and besides offers nutritive action and perfect biodegradability.
Moreover, it reduces the water consumption; it defends the plants from pathogens; it absorbs and dispose gases, petrols chemicals, oils and hydrocarbons. It is even able to clean up polluted water and to produce biofuel.
In addition to its protective function during the transportation, this way the packaging becomes a useful gift for the customer and his garden.
EORA talks
Our sustainable clock EORA is the first product to feature the Kibelis App, which makes him a totally different thing from any other clock you have ever seen.
But how does it work?
Kibelis App is what makes our design creations TALK.
Due to the NFC tag hidden in the product, you just have to move your smartphone close to it and start to get acquainted with your brand new ecofriendly friend.

This is how EORA was born!
EORA is a precious item for Kibelis because it fully synthetizes the brand's philosophy.
Omar Delfo Mascia has always been fascinated by the texture of cork, a natural material typical of his homeland, that encloses both the concepts of sustainability and Made in Italy.
Inspired by a painting, he designed a wooden frame around the cork to highlight its texture.
Wood and cork fit together with no glues: this way disassemblability make them easily customizable and recyclable.
Finally, he designed long and thin wooden hands. While making a prototype in his house, he thought "What do I have here I can use?". Ice cream sticks were the answer! The clock's look was stunning and he realised "Why should I consume new wood if there are so many ice cream sticks to be reused out there?".
Therefore, in order to create materials from wastes, he designed a box to place in the bars where people can recycle the sticks.
